What we collect
Depending on how you use the site, we may collect:
- Order details: name, shipping and billing address, email, phone, and what you purchased
- Contact form details: name, email, topic, and the message you send us
- Newsletter and waitlist signups: email address and where on the site you signed up
- Basic technical information your browser sends, such as device type and pages viewed
How we use it
We use your information to process and ship orders, respond to enquiries, send order and shipping notifications, and, with your consent, send occasional emails about new products, limited edition drops, and pop-up shops. We also use aggregate, non-identifying information to understand which pages are useful and improve the site.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the service providers who make the store work, and only to the extent they need it:
- Shopify, which powers our checkout, order records, and customer list
- Payment processors used by Shopify checkout, which handle card details directly; we never see or store your full card number
- Shipping carriers, to deliver your parcel
- Our email provider, to send order, contact, and newsletter emails
Cookies
The site uses cookies and similar local storage to keep your cart intact between visits and to keep the site working properly. You can clear or block cookies in your browser, though your cart may not persist if you do.
Your choices and rights
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link at the bottom of any email. Under Canadian privacy law, you may also ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to us and we will respond within 30 days.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept as long as required for tax and accounting purposes. Contact messages are kept while they are useful for supporting you. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.
Children
Noble Poet products and this site are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes and questions
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we will update the date at the top of this page. Questions about privacy can be sent to us at any time and a real person will reply.
